Absolutely useless!

I believe indiegogo is not about your campaign. Instead, they make you work hard just to make there website more popular so that they can make more money. Why do I think so? it is because my campaign is not even listed on the website, nobody would see it if they were to browse through campaigns. People can see the campaign only with external links. I have to do all the work through facebook, twitter, craigslist, youtube and so on.

Terrrible website when you need help!

Myself and a few other mothers that are friends of mine have/had active campaigns on indiegogo. Not only did we have problems posting supportive messages on other campaigns - we also could not post on our own at times!!It seems the site prevents single parents from being seen by the general population.None of us have raised more than $58 out of a $15000 goal.My goal was only $5000 and I got a whole $3 and it was from my friends that are also in need. Out of each dollar that was donated, IGG took $.09.Isn't that nice of them?? My campaign made it to page 5 and the very next day it was gone completely out of 32 pages.I say BULLSH1T.I would like to sue them.I think they've sabotaged our campaigns on purpose.THANKS A LOT.So much for helping families in need!!!

horrible customer service

Jul 30, 2012 by Tegan

Very frustrated with Indiegogo. Was supposed to receive funds on a certain date and after two weeks - still waiting. Scoured the website for help and did everything that the website suggested. Tried to find contact information for customer service to follow up but you can only send an email. Have reached out FIVE times now and the only email response I received was a stock response and not helpful. I also was inadvertently sent an email regarding someone else's campaign AND just this morning I receive a random spam email from someone in the UK wanting to "get to know" me. Anyway, asked to speak to someone and after 3 days, still no response.

Tiered fees are punishing and you dont get exposure on the site unless you've already done a hell of a lot of groundwork

Only had donors that I knew so not particularly impressed

Don't like the fact that you get walloped with a 9% fee if you dont meet your target. That combined with payment gateway fees is too much in my opinion

Good site

Good fundraising tools and community but I wasn't a fan of their 9% fee is you dont reach your target

Crowdfunding Websites , USA 1.2 5.0 108 108 I was scammed for a lot of money so I hope this review helps someone. I never write reviews which I feel bad because they are helpful but I will not stand and let others get straig
