Customer service????

Apr 01, 2015 by Glenn McGrew II

I wrote to them to verify facts I'd culled from their FAQs and other documents but didn't receive an automated response. After a week and no response at all, I wrote again yesterday. Still waiting.

No recourse for fraudulent activities

Rockethub apparently has no mechanism in place to protect the "investors" who put up money. I am having a problem with a contribution I made on a project, and the rockethub people said I would have to take it up with the seller. I agree with Derek...I think this system amounts to aiding and abetting fraud. Rockethub gets their cut and the public be damned.

Rocket Hub Rip OFF!

Jul 02, 2014 by Derek

Allows people to defraud the public and doesn't stand behind postings on their site. There are they allow people to make outright lies and do not take their posts down so they can continue to defraud the public so they can make their cut of the funding. They even delete posts warning others NOT to fund it's a scam! They do this so others will continue to fund and once again Rocket Hub gets their cut. This should be illegal!

Don't agree with Mike, I thought RH was pretty complicated to use

Easiest one to use

I like the look of their site a lot more than the others.

I am internationally based, and RocketHub works around the world, and Kickstarter does not. They also accepts money from friends of mine in other countries.

It is easier to use for me since RocketHub fixes the credit card fee at 4%.

Indiegogo changed the rate on my friend and told him they calculated how many contributions he got (he paid over 5%), and charged him a $25 wire fee.

I like - I think

I love the look and feel of the site but I'm still not sure how their funding method works.

It's a little confusing - will try and figure it out and then post my additional thoughts but initially i think it looks good but they need to make the site clearer
