Just Giving Review

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I raised $1400 towards a charity trip through my company and when I went to collect it they had cancelled my page, stating they cancelled it in July yet my page had continued to collect donations through to September. When I inquired they simply said they have the right to do so at their discretion. They refunded most donors (some still haven’t and it’s 4 months later) and refuse to connect me to anyone other than robots who say they had a right to do this. I now have wasted DAYS of fundraising efforts and am paying my employer back the entire amount I was supposed to raise for the charity trip. Most unprofessional charity service DO NOT USE THIS YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME !!

My funds are locked in my account and after 17 emails to them, they still can't give me an answer to why I can't get my funds. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

JUSTGIVING.COM IS A COMPLETE SCAM. THEY ACQUIRED A LEGITIMATE FUNDRAISING ORGANIZATION AND NEVER INFORMED THE NONPROFIT CLIENTS. THEY CONTINUED TO TAKE MONEY FROM DONORS WHO THOUGHT THEIR MONEY WAS GOING TO THE NONPROFIT OF THEIR CHOICE. TURNS OUT JUSTGIVING.COM KEPT ALL THE MONEY AND NEVER INFORMED THE NONPROFITS. THIS COMPANY IS A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

Relatively easy to use but I've been trying to take my appeal off their website and get the funds into my charity's account for ages. I emailed someone who gave me another email and a phone number. I emailed twice and got no response, and the phone number I got was invalid.

I didn't know that Just Giving are a for-profit company and they make millions a year because of the fees they charge.

They charge £15 monthly subscription; 15 per cent VAT on donations; 5 per cent of donations; 1.45 per cent credit card fee or 1.6 per cent on PayPal or debit card fees!!!

Good for charity fundraisers but a little lacking on the social integration
