Upset with Service

Dec 06, 2013 by Ginny

Had high hopes for using this site. Relatively easy process to start a project, have it reviewed by peerbackers, the ability to share the site is easy. Now that our project has come to a close, trying to contact Customer Service has been nearly impossible. Have sent multiple messages and have heard nothing back. Individuals who have backed our project are upset that their donations have been charged to their credit cards to back our project and we have yet to see any of those funds that they submitted to the site. So not only are we upset because we can't get ahold of anyone, we have backers that are upset because their money has been taken and not given to us like it should have been.

Terrible Service

Lousy software environment and even worse customer service. They review your content before you tell then to and make rash decisions on profiles THAT ARE STILL IN EDIT. Their customer service person 'Sally' is incompetent and rude. Don't waste your time with this unprofessional outfit.

Registration annoyance

People have to register before donating. A big hurdle in the way or raising money.

Room for improvement

It has some nifty features that I haven't seen elsewhere. For example, when you hover over a reward level you get a little picture of the reward.

However, there were a few glitches like often the 'forum' tab would fail to load. Also, the site doesn't seem as busy as many other crowdfunding sites.
